wiring a ballast resistor into a 68 bug?
Ive got a electronic ignition Ive installed in my bug, the instructions say it needs a resistance coil or it’ll fry the module. I’m going to install a ballast resistor and it needs to be on the hot lead from the ignition switch to the coil. The problem is theres 2 wires coming out of the firewall one goes to the + side of the coil and the other does the same and then goes to the carb. My question is which wire does the ballast resistor go on?
it has to go on the hot wire.
