If I format my computer, can I still install vista with my HP express upgrade kit?
Does the Vista CD I got work as a regular Vista CD or is it only for upgrading with XP already installed. I would prefer if I could format my HD first because I don’t have enough space to install it.
If it’s an upgrade disk, it usually implies that something is necessary to upgrade. If nothing is preexisting to upgrade, what would the software do? Check your packaging to see if it is standalone, but it doesn’t sound like it to me.
