what is the best font size for a tri-fold poster?

My daughter is doing a project on rabies and was wondering what would be the best font size to use on her tri-fold poster.
its one of those giant posters that have 3 flaps.

I gather that you are talking about a 3-fold brochure and not a poster.

If it is a 9 x 12 tri-fold, you can use 14 to 16 pts as headline and 10 to 11 pt as regular text.

If it is a poter 36 x 48 tall, then you just use a font that is4 times bigger than the small prochure. That’s it. The rest is your imagination.
