My 99 Plymouth Voyager mini van is leaking red fluid. It has an oil leakage but is the tranny going?
Last week we had the Valve covers changed..Tomorrow we are having the crank seals changed, the cam sheals, the water pump, and the timing and serpentene belts changed. Do you think the red fluid has to do with my oil problem? Or something worse?
red fluid is from the transmission. it could be a transmission line, front seal, back seal or the pan gasket. it has nothing to do with the stuff you mentioned. the transmission oil is in a different category then those.
