Which red dot sight would be best for my new Springfield Socom2?

I’ve been looking at Eotech’s and Aimpoint’s red dot sight. They are two very different designs. I was wondering if anyone could at least give advice on the perks of each of these sights or tell me outright which is the better.

Eotechs the way to go ive tried both and after a few months the aimpoint BROKE!!! i was mad. my Eotech is still going strong though
