Is this ozone smell safe after the high ozone shock treatment?
We noticed some mold in the basement not long after my 2 yr. old was diagnosed with asthma. So we decided we needed to get rid of the mold so I called this air purification specialist. He claimed the high ozone shock treatment would eliminate the mold and help improve my sons asthma. He emitted high levels of ozone (o3) into our home for an extended period of time. We were gone for 24 hrs. When we returned the whole house smelled terribly of a chemically smell. The furniture, curtains, and our closets were worse. There also was a sticky residue on some materials. I have been cleaning EVERYTHING in my house to get rid of it. It seems that my son is coughing more now. Its been 5 days and the smell has subsided but it still is very noticeable and its driving me crazy with worry. I have two children of my own and I am in the process of opening a home daycare so I need reassurance that this is safe. Any advice from people with experience?
He didn’t use ozone. Ozone will not last that long. Ozone does not leave a residue. Find out what he did use, then report him to local authorities. Leave your child with grandma or an aunt until you finish the cleanup.
Does this stuff make baking soda and water bubble / foam?
