How do I hook up a powered sub woofer with the wire used in my pre-wired home?
The wire they used is made up of two very thin wires (not sure the gauge) and a ground. Can I just add a male RCA connector to each end?
It should work no matter what wire is used. The signal level is very minimal and the currents are even less impressive. Moreover as it’s a powered sub, you can adjust the gain should the wire cause losses.
Better wire is always better, but go for it.
