I have had a portable AC unit in my room for a few months now, and ever since I got it, I have been seeing increasing amounts of small bugs (daddy long legs, small moths, nats, mosquitos, etc) in my room, as well as a few small geckos and lizards.
The hose from my AC unit leading to outside is pretty big, defiantly big enough for small litte creatures to crawl through. I was thinking that they climbed in through that hose and out of the mini A/Cs vents?
I live in hot, humid south Florida, so a lot of these animals are probably coming in here since its cool.
Do you think this is my problem? We have a pest contol service that comes regularly, and there arent little critters in the rest of the house.
Its very disturbing for me to go to sleep every night with creepy little lizards, spiders, and bugs in my room.

If this is the problem, do you think I could secure a piece of screen around the hose to outside?
