Is it legal to carry Swiss army knife in Los Angeles?
I recently purchased a Victorinox multitool. It has a blade with a length of 3 and a half inches. Can I carry it arround on my belt?
Chapter 13.62 of the Los Angeles County Code…
“…the terms “knives and daggers” shall include any knife having a blade of three inches or more in length…”
“It is unlawful for any person to carry on his person, in plain view, any knife or dagger.”
“The foregoing restrictions shall not be deemed to prohibit the carrying of ordinary tools or equipment for use in a lawful occupation or for the purpose of lawful recreation…”
