Why is my hair so dry, frizzy, oily and damaged?
I am 14, I wash my hair every other night once or twice,
I use:
shampoo: Therappe
Conditioner: Suave Strawberry Mountain breeze
Are these good? Or are there better, cheap products I can use?
I don’t swim in December ; D
Heyx
Use a wide tooth comb for detangling.
NEVER brush wet hair.
Invest in a paddle brush and a circular brush for drying with a hair dryer. Towel dry hair occasionally. But keep combing with a wide tooth comb.
Condition ONLY mid length to ends.
Condition twice a week.
Wash hair every other day.
Use hairspray for extra hold.
Dont rub hair together, it makes it static and frizzy.
Massage the top slightly to produce seburn which makes it smooth.
Rinse with FREEZING cold water, to make it shiny. Only rinse scalp with cold water if you can bear it.
Try serum sprays which are light and combat frizz.
Use the same brand for shampoo and conditioner for better results.
Herbal Essences have a shampoo and conditioner for ALL hair types. Loreal is also very good. Change shampoo brands once a year, because sometimes your hair gets used to a certain brand and ingredients, then it does nothing.
If your hair gets especially dry then do a deep conditioning treatment or hair mask once a fortnight.
Hope this helps, (a little bit long).. it works for me.. and my hair is it tip-top condition.
