Whats the name of the number 10 to the power of a million?

Or in other words a 1 with a million noughts on the end….

If u tell me its called a million, u can give yourself a slap

There’s no special name for this in mathematics, as far as I know. 10^100 is called a “googol” (not “google”, which is the name of a search engine, although the name was inspired by googol). And 10 raised to the power of a googol is a “googol-plex”. But again, 10^(10^6) doesn’t have a formal name.

Technically, it DOES have a Latin name. 10^6 is a million, 10^9 is a billion, 10^12 is a trillion, and so on. 10^303 is a centillion. So 10^(10^6) is
10 * 10^(999,999) =
10 * 10^(3 * 333,333) =
10 * 10^(3 * (333,332+1)) =
“Ten [whatever the Latin prefix is for 333,332]~illion”

In modern practice though, we don’t usually use the long Latin names like this. When you get up to really huge numbers with names that would be something weird, like “duo-septuagintillion”, it’s easier to just use scientific notation.

If you wanted to write this in terms of a googol, I suppose you could describe this as
10^(100 * 10,000) =
(10^(100)) ^ 10,000 =
“a googol raised to the power of 10,000″
