Is it safe to keep a Swedish firesteel (and its striker) on a keychain?
How likely is it to spark when struck by some metal item on the keychain? My keychain has a Leatherman Squirt multi-tool, a Maglite Solitaire flashlight, and, of course, keys (quite a few of them).
It actually takes a bit of pressure to generate that spark. Keeping it on your key chain in your pocket is going to be pretty safe.
