is it ilegel to black out ur tail lights if u have a LED brake and turning bar under ur tailgate?

i would like to know cuz i want to black them out and have the LED bar

It depends on where you are located, but it sounds like you are trading one set of lights for another. As long as the new set meets the state standards for size and light output it shouldn’t matter.
