International Underwater
International Waters – Specific Locations?
I’m making a “Utopian City” for English 12, and for mine I’m making an underwater location. Could somebody tell me some co-ordinates where the water isn’t too unreasonably deep (No more than a kilometer or so I guess) and where it falls in International Waters. I’d like my location to be plausible. So like co-ordinates and a written description (100 km off the coast of Florida for example).

International waters is any area outside the 200 km Exclusive Economic Zone form a Countries coastline. About 350 km East of Newfoundland is an area of the coastal shelf called ” Flemish Cap” that is in International waters. Water depth varies from about 120 metres down to about 700 metres in that area.
The General coordinates are about 47 degrees north latitude, and 45 degrees west longitude.
