Stay Comfortable with Superfeet Insoles
Superfeet are a design of insoles that can be added into any summer shoe. While summertime is considered a time to kick back and relax, problems often develop due to uncomfortable shoes. Many of the stylish designs of summer mules and sandals are not the most comfortable option. Often, when shopping, a cute shoe style will catch our eye and we usually buy it without considering how it will feel, and the damage it can do to our feet later on.
Superfeet insoles can make any pair of shoes more comfortable. They are designed to be added to a pair of shoes after you purchase them. Superfeet insoles provide constant support and cushioning and are particularly effective in providing support around the arch.
Superfeet provide uniform cushioning which is particularly useful for many of the designs of summer shoes that normally provide less cushioning. Areas such as under the heel are particularly sensitive to this lack of padding. It is much worse if you are walking around or on your feet a great amount of time.
Another benefit of using Superfeet insoles in your shoes, are that the material is great for absorbing excess moisture. Often, summer shoes are made of a material that is not very absorbent. As your feet perspire, the sweat can cause them to slide back and forth in the shoes, leading to blisters and pain. An absorbent material between your feet and the soles of the shoes will soak up this excess moisture, helping to reduce the risk of blisters and keep your feet in place.

If the idea of using insoles to your shoes sounds like something your grandparents would do. Superfeet insoles are designed for an active lifestyle and younger generations as well. Superfeet insoles are effective due to their closed-cell foam design. The closed-cell design is durable and can last a very long time. It also helps to disperse shock before it reaches the body. Another benefit of Superfeet insoles is that they are made to conform easily to the shape of your foot as the closed-foam design quickly molds to your foot. This is important because it allows you to have the maximum amount of contact between your foot and the ground, preventing trips and falls. In fact, once the insole is in your summer shoes, you will probably forget you have them in at all!
Superfeet insoles are also particularly beneficial because they can help hold your body in correct alignment. This reduces fatigue, particularly for people who are on their feet for long periods of time. While Superfeet insoles cannot correct a pair of ill-fitting shoes, they can effectively add comfort and support to shoes that are your size.
How to use Superfeet insoles:
- Choose the style that you want. There are a variety of styles of Superfeet insoles to choose from. Each has a different level of cushioning. Superfeet insoles are available in orange, green, blue, black and other colors. The color choice shows the level of cushioning and support.
- Slip them in your shoes. Once you make the choice, slip the Superfeet insoles into your shoes. The Superfeet insoles are made to be cut and fit into your shoes. If the insoles that came with your shoes can be removed, you can use this as a template for your new insoles. If not, mark edges of the insole so that you will know where to cut.
- Mark them carefully. It makes sense to be conservative when marking the insoles. It is better to have to go back and remove more than to cut off too much. If you cut off too much of the insole, you may find that your toes or feet rub against the edge of the insole, creating a spot for blisters to form.
- Cut them so that they fit. Use a pair of sharp scissors to cut the Superfeet insoles. Take off a small amount at a time. You may want to periodically put them back into the shoes to make sure you are cutting them correctly. Take your time; this is not a job to do when you are in a rush.
- Place them in your shoes. Once you are happy with the fit of your Superfeet insoles, slip them into your shoes. You should keep them for one pair of shoes. If you want to wear them with another pair of shoes, it is smart to invest in another pair of Superfeet insoles. The closed-cell foam will mold not only to your foot but also to the shape of the shoe on the bottom. If you switch the insole back and forth between shoes, you will interfere with this process.
