How do you choose a good backpack for hiking?
Determine what you are going to carry, go to a good store that has several options. Get knowledgeable salesman to help you find a pack that fits you properly. Load it up and walk around for a while. It must be comfortable! REI is a good place, but I’m sure there are others.
