How to prevent chain slipping out from chain saw all the time?

I bought a used chainsaw. The problem is that everytime I use it the chain slips out after a few seconds. This means that I effectively cannot use the the chainsaw at all.

There’s a few things it actually could be; old chains stretch, worn cogs slip, the bars not tensioned or it might be something like a ripping chain on a saw used for cross cutting or vice versa.

You really should take it to your nearest service centre, most chainsaw accidents leave a permanent impression and your next question could well be a medical one.
