Three soldiers in the desert?
In their Jeep, making their way forward on a routine patrol miles from anywhere. Suddenly the Jeep sputters and dies and the three pile out.
‘Right,’ says the first soldier, ‘We’re going to have to run for it- everybody grab one thing that’ll help us on our way,’
So the three men get busy tearing the Jeep apart. The first soldier carries off a canister of water, ‘So we don’t die of thirst in this desert sun,’ he explains.
The second soldier scurries away with a can of petrol, ‘So I can start a signal fire that can be spotted through this clear desert air,’ he says.
The two men watch as their third, somewhat slow, companion rips off the Jeep passenger door with a huge grunt of effort that nearly exhausts him, finally smirking arrogantly at their bemused expressions and remarking…
‘So when I get hot I can wind the window down, morons!’
