Cleaning your bota bag?
I just got my kiddos Bota Bags for Camping from Coleman. How do you keep them clean. Should I worry about leaks from BPA? Keep or Return? Thanks
For the outsides of them, a little bit of leather or suede cleaner should do well enough. The outside part is going to end up getting stained though, no matter how careful you are with them.
For the inside, which is the most important part to keep clean, rinse it with very warm (but not too hot) soapy water (shake the soapy water around inside very well), rinse that out with clean water, then give it a rinse with a dilute bleach solution, then rinse with water again to get all the bleach out.
Make sure they are completely dry, inside and out, before storing them. I have had a few of these for years and other then some stains on the outsides, they are still in good shape.
