is there a blue led or blue laser light that can blind you?
A blue light device hit my eye and left a image or black circle for several days. It blinded me for a minute. it looked like a usb flashcard but was very powerful.
YES, most definitely, a blue (or for that matter, ANY color of visible laser, or even LED light) can blind you, and it is entirely dependent on the power level and the duration of exposure.
Only a few Milli-watts of power can be damaging. Especially the Green Laser color.
When you consider that lasers, ( in common usage for industrial purposes) have the ability to cut through solid steel, the eyeball does not stand a chance, if accidentally exposed, even for a few microseconds.
It sounds like your SCARY experience was at the threshold of permanent damage. I hope you’re alrght now !
