Do effects pedals need an a/c adapter, or does the included battery work just fine?
I bought a Boss MT-2 pedal from guitar center. It has an a/c adapter port, but did not come with an adapter. Do i need to buy one, or will the battery be good. Also is there any difference between the battery and a/c adapater in the quality of the pedal?
AC Adapters – more convenient you don’t have to worry about the battery running out, but do hum since its coming from a mains supply.
Battery – 100% clean noise, does the same as the AC adapter, problem if you have to keep buying or if you buy a rechargeable one, you have to keep replacing or recharging them.
