If I bake a base for the layer cake, how long can I store it and how before decorating?

I need to bake a few in advance. I need 5 cakes for the same day. After I made a few cakes for my family, I got requests and they all fall on the same day. I need to bake them in advance and store it somehow. decorating is a fast thing with me. I have 10 days to go. Please help!!!!
PS. I am talking about a sponge cake.

I sell cakes.
I bake on Tuesday board and crumb coat.
Wednesday I frost the cakes.
Thursday I decorate.
Friday/Saturday they are picked up or delivered.

As long as the cakes are sealed with a crumb coat of frosting they will stay fresh at room temp.
