Avon Skin So Soft used to repel fleas and ticks?
The idea is that you wash and rinse your pet, then mix Skin So Soft with warm water, pour it over them and rub it into the coat, then let it air dry on them… it will repel fleas and ticks.
Has anyone tried this? Does it work? On both cats and dogs (I have one of each)?
And if you have tried this, what is the ratio of SSS to warm water.
The active ingredient in SSS that repels insects is citronella, but there is so little of it that diluting it further would water it down so much it wouldn’t be worth trying.
All you need to do is go to the vet and get a modern product like Advantage, and you’ll never see another flea again.
