Appeal filed to halt power plant in western Kansas
A court appeal filed Friday challenged the construction of a coal-fired power plant in western Kansas, claiming it would pump dangerous pollutants into the air. The Sierra Club is asking the Kansas Court of Appeals to halt construction of the plant, which last month received its permit from the state.
